Madison Salutes Our Heroes

Madison Salutes Our Heroes in 2024

Presented by the Madison Exchange Club

The Madison Exchange Club will host a commemorative event this September on the Madison Green. This event will be a display of 300 3' x 5' flags. Dedicated flags will be on 8 foot poles and arranged in rows, allowing people to walk amongst them and view the names and dedications of those represented by each flag. The event is a reverent tribute which strives to unite the country in the service of others.

Flags can be purchased to honor:

Victims of 9/11

Military

First Responders

Canine Heroes

Everyday Heroes

Child Abuse Prevention

All proceeds from this event will support the ongoing efforts of the Madison Exchange Club to support child abuse prevention, americanism, community service  and youth projects. Purchased flags and dedication tags can be picked up after the event. Flags may also be donated to the Madison Exchange Club who purchases flags for the Town of Madison to fly on the Boston Post Road.

Consider supporting this uniting and patriotic tribute to the strength and service of Americans:

Madison Salutes Our Heroes will begin with an Opening Ceremony on Sunday September 1st. A Commemorative Service will be held on Wednesday September 11 at the First Congregational Church. The event closes Sunday September 15th and flags will be taken to the American Legion Hall for pickup.
