Wish Upon a Pinwheel

A pinwheel represents the carefree life that every child deserves. Sadly, that is not always the case. The CDC estimates that at least one in seven children have experienced abuse or neglect in the past year in the United States. The Wish Upon a Pinwheel banner will be displayed on the Green throughout the month of April, Child Abuse Prevention Month, to raise awareness of this important issue.

On March 27th, 2023, the Madison Board of Selectmen issued a proclamation recognizing April as Child Abuse Prevention Month and encouraging Madison residents to participate in all Exchange Club activities related to this project
