Formerly known as the Friends of Hammonasset Christmas Tree Sale, the Madison Exchange Club will sell fresh cut trees from Vermont on the Madison Green starting the day after Thanksgiving (Black Friday). First 25 trees purchased on Black Friday come with a free small wreath. Tree choices include Fraser Fir, Fralsam and Balsam.

All proceeds go directly back into the local service activities such as the Madison Independence Day Parade, Easter Egg Hunt, Youth Programs and Prevention of Child Abuse.

Tree Care Instructions

Congratulations on your purchase of a premium Vermont Christmas Tree!  Once home, place your tree in fresh clean water as soon as possible. Don't bruise the fresh cut surface or get it dirty. If needed, cut 1 inch from the trunk.  Trees can be temporarily stored for several days in a cool location such as a garage. Place the freshly cut trunk in a bucket that is kept full of water.

Recycle your tree with Madison Boy Scout Troop 490

For a small donation, Troop 490 will pick up your tree from your yard. Email bsatroop490@yahoo.com or call (203) 679-XMAS to schedule pickup. Make your tax deductible check payable to BSA Troop 490 and leave the check in your mailbox.
