The 30th Annual Madison Independence Day Parade was a great event with a special focus on “Health and Wellness, Let’s Get Fit”
The parade featured approximately 100 community groups, floats, bands, clowns, antique cars, trucks, bicycles and a number of professional performance groups. It has been recognized as one of the best parades in Connecticut.
Grand Marshal, Dr. John Mastrobattisto with Parade Chairman, Mike Catalano
Dr. John Mastrobattisto is the proud owner of Shoreline Chiropractic
Center, LLC in Madison and has served both Madison and the
Shoreline community since 1997. He is
known for his gentle, caring approach and offering natural health care
solutions for common problems such as headaches, neck and back pain,
allergies/asthma and more. He was born
and raised in New Haven County and has settled here in Madison with his wife
Tonya and their two children, Evan and Morgan.
Dr. John, as he is affectionately known, has served in many local civic
and charity organizations and currently is on the Board of Directors for the
Madison Jaycees and Madison Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. John has recently established a community-wide health
and wellness program called the Madison Challenge through the chamber of
commerce that has helped hundreds of shoreline residents get healthy and stay
motivated. Based on this recent
community focus the Exchange Club of Madison selected the theme for the 2009
Parade to be “Health and Wellness,
Let’s Get Fit”. Drawing on his fitness training as a competitive
athlete and his 15 years experience as a chiropractor helping people restore
and maintain healthy lifestyles, Dr. John created the Madison Challenge to
share ideas, resources and recommendations for healthy living. The program is known for being “The
competition where everyone wins” and has been a big success. Madison Challenge participants are reaching
and maintaining long sought after health and wellness goals and reinforcing a
culture of healthy living here in Madison.
Dr. John is committed to keeping the Madison Challenge as well as his
chiropractic practice active to inspire hope and continue to offer quality
health solutions.
Please join us at the Exchange Club of Madison at
congratulating Dr. John for his efforts.
